**QGH Note: Growing up in a Carib home Sea Moss, Irish Moss, Sour Sop, are normal conversations, not a fad thing. In December 2019, I had a terrible strain of the flu, that was the first time I was sick ever in life since I was age 7. The only thing that nursed me back to health was Sea Moss. It took two days to kick in. I took Sea Moss on Saturday afternoon, I was able to get out of the bed all day on Monday morning. The week before I was stuck in bed for three days asleep on my death bed. Sea Moss works.**
Dr. Sebi spoke highly of Irish Sea Moss; A sea weed also known as Irish Moss. The active compound in Irish Sea Moss is carrageenan which helps in restoring good health throughout the body, and the mucous membrane. Because of the ability to absorb excess liquid in the lungs and expel excess mucus it addresses respiratory ailments such as bronchitis. Irish Sea Moss has also been used to remove radiation poisoning from the body, and to soothe inflamed tissue in the digestive tract. It is also an excellent natural source of iodine.
In addition, Irish Sea Moss helps with various skin diseases, such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema and sunburn. Once blended, it can be applied topically or added in baths to moisturize and hydrate the skin, reduce rashes and inflammation, as well as provide relief for muscle and joint pain. An aphrodisiac, Irish Sea Moss can also increases libido when when taken orally as well as used in baths.
The human body is made up of 102 minerals and sea moss has 92 of them. Pair this item with Bladderwrackto obtain 102.
Our Irish Sea Moss is cultivated and harvested and in the oceans of Jamaica. It is sun dried (no fertilizers or bleaching chemical used). Our Irish Sea Moss is clean, however because of the natural nature of our product, and that it is wild harvested in the ocean it contains sea salt, and may contain tiny seashells etc. This Irish Sea Moss needs to be washed and soaked several times before use.
PREPPING YOUR SEAWEED
Remove your sea moss from the package. (It will have a slight smell. That’s a good thing!). Thoroughly rinse your seaweed with filtered or spring water. (Do not use tap water. I have a filtered system installed in my home which is why you see me rinsing it in the sink)
Grab a bowl and fill it with water. Place your sea moss in and soak for 4 to 8 hours.
MAKING SEA MOSS GEL:
After soaking, drain water from the bowl. You will notice it has lost some color (almost translucent) and has expanded 2x its original size.
Add your sea moss and fresh spring or filtered water to a high-speed blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth. Pour into a glass jar and place a lid on top. Store in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
